Our group designs, constructs, and applies DNA and RNA nanostructures and nanodevices. By exploiting Watson-Crick base pairings, we can fold a long scaffold strand into a desired form through self-assembly. We have created both 2D and 3D nanostructures and even some that can move! Our work also entails characterizing, purifying, and imaging our nanostructures. The applications of DNA and RNA nanostructures includes: biosensing, drug delivery, bioimaging, and  computing.
